Well...where to begin! Anlo has just shipped us the Leslie high waisted straight leg. If you are looking for some dressy jeans, please look no further. If you are looking for something more casual in the pants department, we also just received some Stitch's (Maya is the style) that are a mid-rise straight leg. These jeans are a lighter wash, and made from a very soft, light denim.

We also just opened a huge box from Alternative Apparel. We recieved solid tanks, burnout tanks, all types of t's, wraps and dresses (a few new styles!). We now have tops from Alternative in every color of the rainbow!

"Helen Lubetkin is the founder of Helena de Natalio. Ms. Lubetkin grew up in the San Francisco Bay area and earned her bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Puget Sound near Seattle.

In May of 2003, she joined the Peace Corps and moved to Natalio, Paraguay where she befriended the town's seamstress and would sit at her sewing maching late into the night polishing her skills and experimienting with different fabrics and patterns. Inspired by her Natalio experience, Helen moved to Buenos Aires to begin her own line of handbags in August 2005.

Helena de Natalio designs are unmistakable -- a mixture of feminine and bohemian artistry. The designer's creativity with hand-crafted leathers continues to set her apart from the competition. Helena de Natalio bags continue to be distinctly classic while added details bring out vintage flare.

In the future, we are looking into moving more manufacturing back to the US and continue to look for ways to reduce our waste and make the most of our local resources."

The Anlo Lisseth Flare in Cayman is our latest (and extremely flattering) pant to come in. Consisting of 98% cotton and 2% polyurethane, this denim hugs your body in all the right places for a perfect fit. The wash is nice and light for summer. These pants look great with a pair of our chunky Frye sandals!

If you have been in lately, you may have heard Her Tern has new brands coming for fall. Well, it isn't fall yet...but we have just received a little sneak peek of what is to come from Giraudon! We have two styles in for summer. All Giraudon shoes are made in Spain from European leather. They are comfortable, durable and stylish! Come by and try a pair on.

Tanks and T's are in from Alternative Apparel just in time for our warm, sunny weather! We have cap-sleeve t's, burnout crews, tanks, tunics and wraps in too many colors to list. All peices are under $40! They are great on thier own, but also make for wonderful layering. Come by and try one on!

Melissa Shoes

Melissa is a new line to us...we are VERY excited to have them and so far customers love them! They are not your average leather shoe. In fact, they are made of PVC! Here's a little info about the company...

"Melissa is made from PVC, which is especially manufactured by the Brazilian company Grendene in its plant in Brazil. Researchers in its laboratory have already developed more than 70 formulations of PVC, thus enabling the company to produce injection moulded shoes of outstanding flexibility, comfort and design."

Since they are made of PVC, we have had several people ask if they are comfortable or if your feet get sweaty... here's the answer...

"Only the most comfortable and ‘breathable’ types of PVC are used. As is the case with all shoes, an important factor to consider regarding this question is whether the style being worn is appropriate for the season in which it is being worn. With the open styles, there is no difference between wearing melissa and a normal leather shoe. With the more closed-in styles, melissa ensures that ventilation is incorporated into the design of the shoe. melissa customers frequently wear the more closed-in styles during summer, for example Ultragirl. ‘Melissa Australia’ has NOT had one complaint about melissa being too hot."

"They are incredibly comfortable. The most common feedback we receive relates to how comfortable the shoes are. No one really believes this until they put them on – so get them onto your feet! Melissa does not really stretch – any type of give will be negligible. We suggest that customers buy the size that suits them at the time of fitting. Melissa is slightly on the smaller side, particularly in the narrow pointy toe styles, when people may often go up a size."
